Collect for Output Plus is an XTensions module that allows the user to collect a document and all the related components into a folder ready to send for printing. The XTensions module will collect the original document along with all related images and fonts, and generate a report that notes detailed information about all the components of the document. With StuffIt 4.0, or greater, installed on the Macintosh, the user is also able to compress the resulting collected files into a single archive.
This version of Collect for Output Plus includes RGB/Overflow Alert to automatically examine QuarkXPress documents for any RGB pictures or overflow text boxes and warn of their presence when a document is opened, saved, printed, closed, and/or collected for output.
A document can also be examined by selecting check for rgb/overflow from the QuarkXPress utilities menu. The rgb/overflow alert dialog box is a floating palette which remains above all opened QuarkXPress documents and allows the current document to be checked at a glance. If changes are made to the current document, the rgb/overflow alert palette will update as edits are made, automatically, to ensure that the current state of the document is always known.
